Rolex Datejust 36 1601 Rose Gold

The 1601 is the reference that defined the modern Datejust — a 36mm case, a fluted bezel, and an Oyster or Jubilee bracelet, produced from the late 1950s through the late 1970s. Our example is in solid rose gold, an extremely rare variant of this reference: the 1601 was overwhelmingly produced in steel and two-tone, and surviving rose gold examples in this kind of condition are difficult to source at any price.
